Cast Your Hexagram

1. Formulate your question in your mind, or write it down on a piece of paper.

2. Three coins are tossed simultaneously. Heads = 3 (yang value), Tails = 2 (yin value).

3. The three values are summed to determine the line type. 6=Old Yin, 7=Young Yang, 8=Young Yin, 9=Old Yang.

4. This is repeated six times, building the hexagram from Line 1 (bottom) to Line 6 (top).

5. Old Yin and Old Yang are changing lines. Old/changing lines are highlighted.
