The Richest Man in the World
Amid the crowded, weary train,
With hands that clasp through joy and strain,
A man stood tall, yet unaware
Of the riches bound in love so rare.
His pockets held no golden thread,
No wealth amassed, no treasures spread.
But from his waist, two arms entwine,
A love untouched by fate or time.
A child’s hand, so soft and small,
A wife’s embrace, that says it all—
No jewel could gleam, no coin could weigh
The wealth he holds each passing day.
For gold may shine and fortunes fade,
And kingdoms fall where pride is laid.
But love endures, both fierce and sweet,
A treasure none can steal or cheat.
Through crowded cars and shifting tracks,
This richest man wants not, nor lacks.
For wealth is found in hearts that bind,
A love so pure, it leaves the blind.
So let the world chase fleeting gain,
And count their gold through loss and pain.
For those who love, through storm and flame,
Are rich beyond all wealth or name.
