Latest Updates on Isolation Protocols for Close Contact and Positive Case

Beginning January 2022, the Ministry of Health has updated its protocol for isolation of close contact and positive case. This is in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19 due to the Omicron variant, which is milder in general. In addition, a large percentage of the population is fully vaccinated, including getting the booster jab. Only less than 1% of new cases are considered severe requiring admission.
