hs-CRP to be routine test for heart disease and stroke?
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008A recent study carried out internationally appears to suggest that crestor is beneficial in reducing risks of heart disease and stroke even in patients who are not having high cholesterol level or known heart disease.
In the study, patients with high level of high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) that was detected in their blood test have their risks to heart diseases and stroke reduced significantly.
Some doctors are suggesting that hs-CRP should be routinely checked along with routine blood pressure monitoring and cholesterol level testing. For more information, go to this article.
